Horticultural taxonomy is the study of the identification, naming and classification of horticulturally important plant groups.

The main objective of this activity is to provide access to specimens from those regions, develop research in taxonomic groups rich in ornamental plants and to act as a link between Herbaria, Horticulture and Public Education by:
