I am a Botany graduate looking to further my career within the filed of botany, plant conservation and / or botanical horticulture. I am experienced in both in and outdoor gardening work, conservation, research and work as a technician.


WORK EXPERIENCE


Nov 2001- Dec 2002 National natural history museum: Paris FRANCE
. Technician work at the seed bank, including; cultivation, harvest, cleaning and distribution of the ‘ index seminum’ seeds.

. Researching and collecting wild plants, and Identification of spontaneous cultivated plants from France, Greece and Russia.

. Compiling an Inventory and cleaning historical seeds.


Dec 2000 - Oct 2001 Arboretum de la vallée aux loups (Wolf valley Arboretum): Chatenay Malabry FRANCE .
. Writing a fifty pages booklet about the Convolvulaceae family and the national Convolvulaceae collection growing in the arboretum. (this collection contains more than 500 taxons). Include diagrams, drawings and a bibliographic study with the aim of explaining the botanical and horticultural aspect of this unknown family.


Jun 2000 – Nov 2000 National Pyrénées Park. Néouvielle reserve: Tarbes FRANCE
. Undertook Surveys on the population of three aquatic alpine species present in high lakes of the Natural reserve of Néouvielle : Isoetes lacustris, Subularia aquatica and Potamogeton praelongus. Inventory of the different population (discovery of a new population in a lonely lake).

. Polpulation protection and conservation plus report writing.


Jun 1999 – Oct 1999 SAHIN (horticultural seeds production): Alphen aan den riyn ; HOLLAND
. Discovery of seeds production fields, expedition and stocking process.

. Selection of new varieties directly in fields or with hybridisation and tetraploidy with colchicine plus Seed germination tests.


EDUCATION

Report: Bibliographic study on the growth type of the Convolvulaceae family. The Convolvulaceae family essentially lianas contains very diversificated biological types : trees, shrubs ,annual grasses, woody lianas reaching the canopy, annual liana.

Report: horticulture role in plant conservation.
