Herb, 7cm tall. Flowers blue. Corolla lobes green outside. Styles 2 bifid. Stamens 5, fused to the corolla tube more than half way up.
Track side amongst boulders with Picea, Cotoneaster, Lonicera, Clematis, Fragaria and Polygonum.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.18, V. L. Komarov. Sect. dolichocarpa. Annual without a rosette of leaves at base. Leaves rounded with cartilaginous margin. Stem erect with solitary flower. Corolla to 20mm long with recurved and acute lobes. Plaits in between the corolla lobes 2/3 the length of the corolla lobes and toothed at the apex. Stigmas broad and bilobed.
