Coordinates: 42º11'41'' N, 73º15'03'' E  Alt: 2780m  to the south of Otmök.

Herb, 20cm tall. Flowers mauve with purple veins.
Alpine grazed meadow on a North facing slope with Phlomis, Geranium, Poaceae and Papaver as dominant species.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.14, V. L. Komarov and Yeo 'Hardy Geraniums'. Perennial with taproot and short semi-erect stem. Flowers umbellate, few. Pedicels 1-2cm long, glandular hairy. Peduncle 4-5cm long. Flowers erect to 30mm in diameter. Petals dark purple, claw hirsute ciliate. Fruit nodding. Pratense group close to G.regelii and pratense.
