Coordinates: 41º46'58'' N, 71º58'54'' E  Alt: 1515m  outside the buffer zone.

Herb, 30-60cm tall, strongly aromatic. Inflorescences glandular hairy with conspicuous white bracts. Flowers white, glandular hairy outside. Stigmas mauve at apex.
Stony ground on gorge bottom near stream.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.7, V. L. Komarov. Leaves densely covered with crispate multicellular hairs and short stipitate yellow-orange glands. Leaves ovate, subcordate, large with an erose-dentate margin. Bracts scarious covering the verticillasters, white with a green margin. Calyx 12mm long ribbed, upper lip 3 lobed the middle lobe very short. Calyx campanulate not accrescent. Corolla twice to three times as long as calyx, white. Anthers violet, sterile anther locule rectangular and scarious. Staminal connective straight longer than the filament arm. Stigmas exserted with convoluted branches. Nutlets brown, reticulate and slightly hairy.
