Gazetteer: 6km west of Terek-Say 
Coordinates: 41º28'51'' N, 71º05'37'' E  Alt: 1581m  along the Chinese Gold Mine.


Plant to 80cm tall. Cyathia yellow-green in large umbels. Leaves narrow and long.
N facing hillside with Spiraea, Zabelia, Juniperus. Along the road, disturbed soil in ruderal community.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.14, V. L. Komarov. Perennial with alternate leaves. Leaves to 7cm long, linear with incurved margin. Involucre of oblong lanceolate leaves, acuminate. Involucels of 2 leaves. Cyathium to 2mm in diameter with short fimbriate lobes. Nectaries crescent-shaped, green and shortly bicornute. Styles 2 lobed above, connate at base. Schizocarps trisulcate. Seeds smooth with small caruncle.
