30cm tall herb. Capitula large with yellow florets. Plant white-woolly hairy.
SW slope herb community dominated by Artemisia dracunculus. gravelly soil.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.25, V. L. Komarov. Leaves, stems and phyllaries woolly hairy with thin white hairs and glands. Capitula few and congested. Phyllaries in several rows, inner ones narrower and glandular hairy. Ligulate florets longer than the phyllaries, 3 toothed at apex. Tubular florets yellow with glands at apex of corolla. Anthers with long appendages at base. Stigmas bifid.
