50cm tall herb. Capitula with yellow florets. Inflorescence a spike. Leaves finely dissected and pinnate withered at anthesis.
Herbaceous community dominated by Prangos, Artemisia with Bupleurum, Chenopodiaceae, Centaurea along the track.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.26, V. L. Komarov. Erect plant with withered leaves and terminal paniculate appressed inflorescence. Leaves several times pinnatisect. Capitula small to 4mm in diameter with yellow tubular florets. Phyllaries in several rows with wide membranous margin. Receptacle without scales. Pappus a corona lobed and split to base on one side. Cypsela glandular hairy.
