Coordinates: 41º39'25'' N, 70º43'50'' E  Alt: 1590m 

Herb to 1m tall. Capitula with pale yellow florets.
Herbaceous community dominated by Prangos, Artemisia with Bupleurum, Chenopodiaceae, Centaurea along the track.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.28, V. L. Komarov. Perennial tall erect plant with taproot. Leaves entire, coriaceous, sessile, serrate with few cartilaginous teeth. Florets tubular yellow, stigmas and anthers long exserted. Anthers with ovate appendages at base. Phyllaries in several rows, inner one with membranous margin more than 1mm broad. Cypsela brown, shiny with lateral areole. Pappus of several rows of scabrous black hairs.
