Region: Jalal-Abad Oblast  Chatkal Rayon
Gazetteer: 15km south of Kara-Buura Pass 
Coordinates: 42º04'01'' N, 71º35'37'' E  Alt: 2278m  after the bridge up the hill.

20cm tall herb. Capitula with 4 or 3 ligulate florets. Florets with yellow tube and pinkish-yellow ligule. Plant sticky and producing white latex. Leaves glaucous.
Stony hill with Ziziphora, Potentilla, Melica.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.29, V. L. Komarov. Stem leafy, cauline leaves decurrent on internodes, standing out bright green against the whitish stem. Phyllaries of 2-3 rows of bracts. Ligules 5-toothed at apex. Cypsela with a distinct pappus of simple serrated hairs. Receptacle without palea.
