Herb growing through a Juniperus bush. Corolla lobes pinkish-green. Calyx pale green with pinkish-brown veins.
E facing slates scree with Codonopsis, Lonicera, Juniperus, Lonicera, Papaver, Rosa.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.6, V. L. Komarov and Lazkov, G. A. Family Caryophyllaceae in Kyrgyzstan Semeistco gvozdchnye vo flore Kyrgystana. Flowers on long pedicels. Petals limb notched to 1/4. Calyx 10-veined, tubular flared towards the apex, glandular, to 20mm long. Calyx tube with commissural veins. Styles 3. Ovary on long carpophore to 12mm long. No herbarium specimen at Kew to compare.
