15cm tall bulbous plant. Leaves 1-2 to 3mm wide and flat. Flowers dark pink-purple, each tepal with darker midvein.
E facing slate scree with Codonopsis, Lonicera, Juniperus, Papaver, Rosa.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.6, V. L. Komarov. sect. molium. Bulb solitary or with little bulbils at the base. No rhizome present. Leaves 2, their sheath buried in the scree. Leaves longer than the scape with a scabrous margin. Spathe large, umbel more than 10 flowered. Pedicels of the same length without bracteoles at base. Filaments connate for half of their length to the tepals. The outer filaments lanceolate, the inner broad. Ovules 6.
