Coordinates: 42º17'28'' N, 73º06' E  Alt: 3554m 

Herbs to 30cm tall. Petals white above, with blue-green central band below. Petals with a pair of nectaries at base. Nectaries ciliate. Anthers blue-black, pollen pale yellow.
Alpine mountain ridge with Polygonum (Bistorta), Dracocephalum, Rhodiola, Erigeron, Androsace, Sibbaldia, Poaceae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.18, V. L. Komarov. Leaves elongated to 20mm broad, drying yellow. Flowers 5-6 merous. Sepals with broad membranous margin. Stamens 5-6 with purple anthers. Around 13 nectaries at base of petals. Nectaries are fringed pits. Ovary cylindrical with short stigmas.
