Tall herb with several times pinnate leaves. Umbels compound. Flowers white.
River bank with tall shrubs-trees of Betula, Berberis, Lonicera, Ribes, Salix. Also Sanguisorba, Ligularia, Rubus, Geum.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.16, V. L. Komarov and Pimenov, M.G. (1937- ) The Umbelliferae of Kirghyzia Zontichnye (Umbelliferae) Kirgizii. Leaves biternate, glabrous. Umbels twice compound without involucre of bracts. Pedicels and peduncles scabrous. Flowers male or hermaphrodite. Calyx teeth inconspicuous. Petals white notched and with a curved apex. Petals with a reticulate venation drying red. Schizocarp oblong with filiform straight ribs, canals obsolete. Styles very long and appressed to the schizocarp when ripe. Stigmas globular. Albumen flat.
