To 1.5m tall. Leaves densely woolly hairy. Flowers in long racemes, yellow.
Alpine meadow dominated by Artemisia dracunculus on loose scree with Lagochilus seravschanicus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.22, V. L. Komarov. Plant densely ash-grey tomentose-lanate with stellate hairs. Leaves subsessile, lanceolate-oblong acute at both ends. Flowers in clusters of 3-8 crowded or some pedicellate. Corolla yellow, large, pilose outside. 4 Anthers all similar, reniform with papilliform hairs on connective. Filaments white hairy.
