0.5-1m tall herbaceous with thick taproot and scales at the base. Leaves heart shaped. Flowers tubular, campanulate, light blue with purple veins on the outside, and with bright orange and black markings at the bottom inside of the corolla tube. Stigmas cup shaped splitting into three lobes when receptive.
Large boulders along the river with Picea, Betula, Alchemilla, Papaver.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.24, V. L. Komarov. Leaves opposite. Stem erect branching from base. Ovary inferior with calyx and corolla inserted on the top.
