10cm tall herb often smaller. 3 Umbels and 17 umbellules. Involucre of umbellules as long as the flowers and broad. Flowers yellow, stylopodium dark brown.
Alpine exposed rocky hill at the top of the pass E to NE facing. With Corydalis, Pyrethrum, Rhodiola.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.16, V. L. Komarov and Pimenov, M.G. (1937- ) The Umbelliferae of Kirghyzia Zontichnye (Umbelliferae) Kirgizii. Basal leaves linear lanceolate to 7cm x 3mm. Cauline leaves almost amplexicaule wider 3-4 veined. Bracteoles 5, as wide as the umbels, glabrous, glaucous and green-violet. Flowers with short pedicels, petals purplish-green, stylopodium broader than the ovary, brown when dry. Schizocarp winged. Synonym. B.triradiatum Adams ex Hoffm.
