Rosette plant with very short scape to 5-6cm tall. Plant in fruit. Legumes green-brown slightly inflated and densely hairy. Leaves silvery hairy.
Alpine mountain ridge with Polygonum (Bistorta), Dracocephalum, Rhodiola, Erigeron, Androsace, Sibbaldia, Poaceae.
Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.13, V. L. Komarov. Sect. baicala. Caespitose plant with thick and long taproot. Leaves 2-3cm long, imparipinnate with 8-9 leaflets. Leaflets in clusters of 4-6 leaflets. Leaflets to 2mm long, silvery hairy and sericeous. Stipules membranous acuminate and ciliate. Infructescence slightly longer than leaves with 2-3 legumes. Legume with intrusive placenta on abaxial side (ventral) subbilocular with 6-7 seeds in each locule. Flowers withered but keel with a short beak, banner to 16mm long. Calyx 5mm long with short teeth, with long white hairs and hidden appressed black hairs.
