15-25cm tall. Leaves succulent dentate. Flowers in a corymb, yellow-green. Flowers 4-merous.
Alpine mountain ridge with Polygonum (Bistorta), Dracocephalum, Rhodiola, Erigeron, Androsace, Sibbaldia, Poaceae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.9, V. L. Komarov. Ser. oblongae. Perennial with thick and long taproot. Caudex robust with few old stems covered with brown, triangular scales. Stems numerous to 10-17cm long, erect and leafy. Leaves alternate, flat, with toothed margin, entire towards the base, drying yellow-green. Flowers small 4-merous. Hypogynous scales quadrate. Follicles 8mm long, brown, oblong lanceolate with beak to 1mm long.
