Plants up to 8cm tall with unpleasant smell. Leaves pinnate in a basal rosette. Umbels ray many up to 15-20, umbellules ray up to 8-9. Around 17 flowers in each umbellule. Bracts present pinnate. Bracteoles present. Flowers with white petals and yellow stylopodium.
Alpine mountain ridge with Polygonum (Bistorta), Dracocephalum, Rhodiola, Erigeron, Androsace, Sibbaldia, Poaceae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.16, V. L. Komarov and Pimenov, M.G. (1937- ) The Umbelliferae of Kirghyzia Zontichnye (Umbelliferae) Kirgizii. Stems and pedicels winged. Umbels compound with pinnatisect bracts and bracteoles. Flowers white, stylopodium orange as broad as the schizocarps. Style long and reflexed. Petals white and narrow slightly emarginate and not very curved at apex. Schizocarps with wings straight all equal, the marginal ones not appressed together.
