Coordinates: 42º11'41'' N, 73º15'03'' E  Alt: 2780m to the south of Otmök.

Creeping herbaceous plant. Flower yellow with purplish tinged upper lip. Upper lip hooded. Corolla tube long, curved at base and flower upright. Leaves dentate. Bracts leaf-like and ciliate.
Alpine grazed meadow on a North facing slope with Phlomis, Geranium, Poaceae and Papaver as dominant species.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.20, V. L. Komarov. Creeping subshrub with short slender branches. Leaves sparsely hairy and glandular with less than 5 teeth to 15 x 9mm. Teeth rounded. Bracts entire and acute, inflorescence 4 sided. Calyces hidden by the bracts. Upper calyx lobe with a hood appendage at the back. Corolla to 25mm long essentially yellow with purplish upper lip. Close to S. paulsenii Briq.
