Small tree on the river bank. Stem, leaves and berries hairy. Drupes are still green but becoming red and hairy. Drupes globular. The stone is very large and the endocarp almost dry.
River bank with tall shrubs-trees of Betula, Berberis, Lonicera, Ribes, Salix. Also Sanguisorba, Ligularia, Rubus, Geum, Aegopodium.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.10, V. L. Komarov. Subgen. amygdalus. Leaves doubly serrate to 35 x 22mm, ovate. Petiole to 5mm long, stipules long and serrate. Drupe dry with stone attched to the flesh, to 13mm in diameter. Pedicels to 3-4mm long axillary and single. Drupe slightly flattened with furrow on one side.
