Shrub to 1m tall. Leaves serrate, glabrous. Drupes reddish, pubescent, rounded with a dry pericarp.
Very dry South facing slope on conglomerate rocks with Eremurus, Celtis, Prangos, Centaurea, Alcea, Convolvulus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.10, V. L. Komarov. Cerasus x amygdalus ? Leaves glabrescent 35 x 20mm, obovate, coarsely toothed on short shoots. Stipules as long as petioles dentate to 5-6mm long. Drupes short pedicellate solitary to 10-12mm in diameter, red. Drupes slightly hairy to glabrescent or hairy. Stone furrowed. Similar to Amygdalus ulmifolia but also to Cerasus sp.
