Coordinates: 41º46'50'' N, 71º58'40'' E  Alt: 1304m  outside the buffer zone.

1.5m tall woody herb. Leaves entire, aromatic. Flowers in long terminal paniculate raceme. Corolla purple as well as the calyx.
Dried river bed with large boulders.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.7, V. L. Komarov. Leaves entire, serrate, cuneate at base. Inflorescence long and leafless. Flowers verticillate. Calyx tubular covered with purplish multicellular hairs and golden sessile glands. Corolla violet, longer than calyx with purple markings on lip. Stamens 4, the 2 upper ones fertile with parallel thecae and short expanded connective, hanging down; the two lower ones sterile. Nutlets pear-shaped, brown and verrucose. Close to P. angustifolia, the other species with entire leaves. Possibly they form only one species.
