3m tall tree. Drupes axillary on long pedicels and hanging down. Drupes with one stone, yellow to light red. All seeds seems to be parasitised.
Grazed, trampled flat ground with Hippophae, Betula, Rosa, Malus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.9, V. L. Komarov. Drupe with slight glaucous bloom, subglobose to ellipsoid. Leaves ovate to obovate with crenate margin, apex accuminate. Stipules deciduous. Petiole 0.5-1cm long. Pedicels 15-20mm long , glabrous. P. sogdiana Vassilezenko is meant to be the wild form but it is not possible to distinguish it from P. cerasifera
