Coordinates: 41º39'31'' N, 70º43'25'' E  Alt: 1451m 
Herbaceous bulbous to 1.5m tall. Inflorescence globular head, solitary. Flowers pink. Spathe membranous deciduous. Leaves basal and cauline, flat.
Damp meadow with tall grass community with Ligularia, Rhinanthus, Hippophae, Betula, Crataegus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.4, V. L. Komarov. Bulbs oblong deep underground, in clumps. Tunics numerous, coriaceous, brown, lustrous splitting into fibres. Leaves 4-6 linear 2-5mm broad, flat and smooth. Spathe not seen. Umbels many flowered. pedicels twice the length of the perianth. Perianth rose obscurely veined. Filaments twice as long as perianth connate at base to the tepals. Capsules with one seed in each locule. Seeds black angular.
