Coordinates: 42º03'58'' N, 71º35'44'' E Alt: 2247m after the bridge and the camp site along the river.
Small dwarf branched shrub to 60cm tall growing along the road to Kara-Buura Pass. Leaves very small, crenate. Drupes on small axillary dwarf shoots. Drupes ovate, brown, flattened and densely hairy. Pericarp dry.
Rocky road side with Artemisia, Phlomoides, Spiraea and Acantholimon.
Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.4, V. L. Komarov. Subgen. amygdalus Sect. chamaeamygdalus. Unarmed shrub. Leaves to 16 x 5mm. Drupes velutinous, dry with a basal beak. Leaves conduplicate in bud. Stone smooth.
