Herb with many stems from a woody base. Plants strongly aromatic. Leaves palmately compound, dissected. Capitula large, on a raceme. Phyllaries hairy with a membranous margin.
Rocky road side with Artemisia, Phlomoides, Spiraea amd Acantholimon.
Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.26, V. L. Komarov. Leaves three times pinnately divided. Leaves arachnoid hairy. Phyllaries in several rows hairy with scarious brown margin. Florets tubular female on the edge, hermaphrodite in the middle. Corolla hairy. Receptacle slightly hairy.
