Rosette plant with extremely long taproot growing through the stable scree. Leaves pinnate with narrow leaflets. Leaflets narrow and glaucous. Flowers all basal. Flowers yellow with reddish calyx. Banner bilobed longer than keel. Legume white hairy slightly inflated, furrowed at the top.
Stable scree, E facing with Codonopsis, Astragalus and Poaceae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.12, V. L. Komarov. Sect Myobroma ser. indurescentes. Caespitose plant. Leaves to 9cm long with many leaflets, imparipinnate. Leaves indurescent (persistent and woody when withering). Leaflets appressed hairy abaxially, margin glabrous, alternate to opposite. Raceme few-flowered, flowers with short pedicels and no bracteoles. Wings longer than keel and rounded, oblong. Keel not hooked at apex. Calyx white hairy, teeth shorter than tube. Legume membranous to chartaceous, almost 2 locular with intrusive placenta.
