20cm tall. Leaves 1 pinnate, fern-like. Inflorescence terminal spike like. Calyx inflated, green with purple spots, lobes toothed at apex. Corolla purple-pink with very long and twisted galea at apex. Style slightly exserted from the galea. Lower lip with two large lateral lobe and a small middle one.
In damp places by horses and yurts with Saxifraga, Alchemilla.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora of the USSR. Vol.22, V. L. Komarov. Ser. rhinanthoides. Leaves alternate, pinnatipartite, lobes orbicular and toothed. Inflorescences capitate with leaf-like bracts. Calyx with 5 unequal lobes at apex, inflated. Corolla tube erect. Galea tapering in a long 'S'-shaped snout-like beak. Stamens 4 fused to the corolla and not exserted. Style inserted inside the fold of the galea beak.
