Location:San Luis Potosi, Cerro de San Miguelito, above Privadas de Pedregal. Canada de Lobos.
Coordinates: 22°05'34" N, 100°00'18" W Alt: 2250m

Shrub 10 cm tall (grazed) Flowers yellow, red-tinged outside in bud. 2 yellow stamens. Stigma green.
Disturbed sandy area grazed by horses and donkeys. Geology: igneous rock. Open area with Poaceae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Jerzy Rzedowski, Graciela Calderón de Rzedowski 2004 'Flora del Bajio y de Regiones Adyacentes' Vol. 124. Dwarf, procumbent shrub. Leaves less than 4mm wide. Stamens 2, ovary didymous.
