Location:San Luis Potosi. On Route 70 from San Luis Potosi to Rio Verde. On the north side of the road.
Coordinates: 22°03'55" N, 100°36'46" W Alt: 2238m

Fern glabrous with sori oblong and submarginal. Ultimate segments with recurved margins. Stipe dark purple-brown.
Quercus mexicana woodland with Rhus and Crataegus. Growing with Commelinaceae in crevice of S-facing rock in shade of Quercus mexicana.

Identification Notes: Verified with Mickel, J.T., Pteridophytes of Mexico, 2004. Scales on stipe linear to lanceolate, light brown. Ultimate segments articulate, with dark colour of stalks stopping abruptly at the base of the segments. Segments are unequally cordate at base.
