Location:San Luis Potosi. On Route 70 from San Luis Potosi to Rio Verde. On the north side of the road.
Coordinates: 22°03'55" N, 100°36'46" W Alt: 2238m

Tuberous herb. Flowers pendent, light mauve-pink.
Quercus mexicana woodland with Rhus and Crataegus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Denton, M.F. 1973 'A Monograph of Oxalis section Ionoxalis' Publ. Mus. Michigan. UNi. 4(10). Bulb with many nerved fibrous tunics. Base of petiole with short flanges only just longer than bulb. Leaflets bilobed more than 1/2 way. Flowers distylous, sepals 1/3-1/5 as long as corolla.
