Location:San Luis Potosi. Plazuela, on Route 69 from San Ciro de Acosta to Rio Verde.
Coordinates: 21°48'00" N, 99°55'48" W Alt: 983m

Herb scrambling to 1 m high with twining petioles. Corolla purple and white, closed at the mouth with a palate.
Road verge with Acacia farnesiana, Rhamnaceae and Poaceae. Scramling on Acacia farnesiana with Vitis.

Identification Notes: Verified with Sutton, D.A. 1988 'A Revision of the tribe Antirrhineae' Natural History press, London and Wayne J. Elisen 1985 'Monograph of the Maurandyinae (Scrophulariaceae-Antirrhineae)' Systematic Botany Monographs 5:1. Leaves hastate at base but with entire margin. Petioles twining. Flowers with a conspicuous palate.
