Coordinates: 21°24'46" N, 99°07'44" W Alt: 2138m

Small, procumbent shrub with thick woody roots. Flowers orange-pink.
Pinus forest with Pinus gregii, Arbutus xalapensis, Cupressus lusitanica, Rhus aromatica, Litsea glaucescens, Quercus obtusata, Q. affinis, Cornus, Aphananthe. Growing in a clearing with Dodonaea viscosa, Rhus aromatica and Litsea.

Identification Notes: Verified with McVaugh, Rogers 1987 'Flora Novo-Galiciana : a descriptive account of the vascular plants of Western Mexico. Volume 5, Leguminosae' Ann Arbor : University of Michigan Press. Plants with T-shaped hairs, hairs straight and appressed. Stamens all similar. Anthers apiculate. Leaflets usually alternate.
