Location:Queretaro, Lagunita de San Diego.
Coordinates: 21°24'34" N, 99°07'52" W Alt: 2168m

Shrub 3 m height and spread. Young shoots orange-hairy. Flowers white. Anthers and stigma pale yellow. Ovary green becoming brown. Bark covered with lichens and Tillandsia.
Pinus forest with Pinus gregii, Arbutus xalapensis, Cupressus lusitanica, Rhus aromatica, Litsea glaucescens, Quercus obtusata, Q. affinis, Cornus, Aphananthe. Growing on rock outcrop with Vesalea grandifolia and Cupressus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Kubitzki, K. 'Flowering Plants. Eudicots: Sapindales, Myrtaceae'. Leaves once pinnate, imparipinnate. Leaflets ferrugineous hairy abaxially. Inflorescence a pyramidal panicle. Ovary of 5 free carpels but stylodia fused apically. Gynophore short and present. Mericarps with narrow wings. Genus with only two species.
