Location:Queretaro, Lagunita de San Diego.
Coordinates: 21°24'31" N, 99°07'51" W Alt: 2169m

Scrambling shrub 50 cm high with curved thorns. Flowers white. Petals and stamens white, stigmas and styles pink becoming dark pink. Ovary green. Calyx reflexed.
Pinus forest with Pinus gregii, Arbutus xalapensis, Cupressus lusitanica, Rhus aromatica, Litsea glaucescens, Quercus obtusata, Q. affinis, Cornus, Aphananthe. Growing on rock outcrop, scrambling over Vesalea grandifolia under Arbutus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Flora del Bajio y de regiones adyacentes, 2005. Leaves mostly trifoliolate, glabrescent. Inflorescence with few corymbose flowers, covered with sessile reddish glands. Carpels 20, hairy at apex.
