Location:Queretaro, Lagunita de San Diego.
Coordinates: 21°24'21" N, 99°08'00" W Alt: 2085m

Twining climber 1.5 m tall. Flowers green with orange at base of gynostegium. Anthers blue. Sap white.
Pinus forest with Pinus gregii, Arbutus xalapensis, Cupressus lusitanica, Rhus aromatica, Litsea glaucescens, Quercus obtusata, Q. affinis, Cornus, Aphananthe. Growing on Cestrum and Ilex under Quercus.

Identification Notes: Verified with George M. Diggs et al. 2006 'Illustrated flora of East Texas'. Stems with short, long and glandular hairs. Leaves sparsely pubescent with colleters at junction petiole and leaf blade. Inflorescence umbellate, corymbose. Calyx tube short, corolla green with strong visible reticulate venation. Faucal annulus (corolline corona) present very short, lobed and glabrous. Stigmatic head pentagonal in shape, purplish and with membrabous appendages. Anther without a dorsal appendages. Pollinia with an excavated sterile basal portion near the translator arm.
