Location:San Luis Potosi, Xilitla, near La Trinidad.
Coordinates: 21°23'40" N, 99°02'41" W Alt: 1462m

Epiphyte on Podocarpus matudae. Stems erect to pendent. Flowers pinkish purple. Lip with dark purple central patch. Colunm white. Roots purple-pink.
Cloud forest with Liquidamber, Podocarpus and Quercus affinis. Growing in moss on Podocarpus at 2-5 m high.

Identification Notes: Verified with Javier García-Cruz, Luis Martín Sánchez Saldaña, Rolando Jiménez Machorro & Rodolfo Solano Gómez 2003 'Flora del Bajio y de Regiones Adyacentes, Orchidaceae tribe Epidendreae' Vol. 119. Lower stem sheaths roughened, warty. Flowers in a loose raceme.
