Location:Puebla, Mpio Soltepec, between Acatzingo and San Salvador El Seco.
Coordinates: 19°04'02" N, 97°41'37" W Alt: 2384m

Erect herb 25 cm tall. Stems pinkish at base. Corolla blue. Anthers white. Staminodes yellow.
Pine forest with Pinus orizabensis, Quercus and Cupressus. Growing with Poaceae under Quercus.

Identification Notes: Verified with Calderon, G. & Rzedowski, J. 2001 'Flora fanerogamica del Valle de Mexico'. Fertile anthers 3, staminodes 2 (H-shaped), Lower petal subsessile. Spathe cordate at base, acuminate at apex. Roots fibrous.
