Location:Puebla, Mpio Soltepec, between Acatzingo and San Salvador El Seco.
Coordinates: 19°04'04" N, 97°41'41" W Alt: 2371m

Geophyte 14 cm tall. Bulb white inside, brown outside. Tepals white inside, pink tinged outside. Anthers yellow. Filaments white. Spathe and scape pink tinged.
Pine forest with Pinus orizabensis, Quercus and Cupressus. Growing under Pinus with Poaceae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Espejo Serna, A. & López-Ferrari, A.R. 2002 'Flora of Veracruz 128, Amaryllidaceae. (as Zephyranthes verecunda)'. Flowers sessile (without peduncle). Z. minuta in World Checklist of Selected Plant Families (http://apps.kew.org/wcsp/ Retrieved 17.10.2013).
