Location:Puebla, Mpio San Salvador el Seco, San J. Barroso, between San Salvador El Seco and San Nicolas Buenos Aires.
Coordinates: 19°10'26" N, 97°36'33" W Alt: 2375m

Herb 1 m tall with thick root. Crushed leaves smell sweetly aromatic. Cut root exudes yellow sap. Tepals yellow.
Open volcanic rock and sand area. Growing with Mirabilis.

Identification Notes: Verified with Calderon, G. & Rzedowski, J. 2001 'Flora fanerogamica del Valle de Mexico'. Leaves pinnate with filiform leaflets. Inflorescence twice compound, bracts none. Flowers few bisexual at the edge, male elsewhere. Calyx reduced, petals white. Schizocarps longer than wide, glabrous with long style apically and three prominent ribs on each mericarp.
