Coordinates: 18°43'22" N, 97°03'50" W Alt: 1835m

Small, upright tree 6 m tall. Fruits pinkish-red.
Roadside, ruderal, disturbed habitat at forest edge. Orange clay soil with Sambucus, Hypericum and Thalictrum. Growing with Rubus and Melastomataceae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Rafeal Fernandez Nava 1980 'Flora de Veracruz' vol. 50. Leaves alternate, veins pale brown and hairy. Stipules deciduous. Calyx disc like. Drupes in axillary clusters. Drupes hairy and with 3 pyrenes inside.
