Coordinates: 18°43'22" N, 97°03'50" W Alt: 1835m

Climber, twining on Mimosoideae. Corolla green with dark green reticulate veins. Corona yellow.
Roadside, ruderal, disturbed habitat at forest edge. Orange clay soil with Sambucus, Hypericum and Thalictrum. Growing with Rubus and Mimosoideae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Veronica Juarez Jaimes & Lucio Lozada 2003 'Flora del Valle de Tehuacan-Cuicatlan, Asclepiadaceae' Vol. 37. Climber with opposite leaves. Leaves sparesely hairy with colleters at junction of petiole and leaf blade. Calyx tubular fused into a tube at base. Corolla green with overlaping lobes and with distinct venation patterns. Faucal annulus (corolline corona) present very short, lobed and glabrous. Stigmatic head pentagonal in shape, anther with dorsal yellow and fleshy appendages. Pollinia with an excavated sterile basal portion near the translator arm.
