Location:Veracruz, Mpio Calcahualco, Barranco de San Miguel, Tlacotiopa.
Coordinates: 19°06'29" N, 97°12'07" W Alt: 2646m

Large shrub 6 m tall, 4 m spread. Flowers white, unpleasant smelling. Stigma pale pink.
Stream gorge with Pinus and Quercus forest. NE facing side of the gorge. Growing at base of rock outcrop with Buddleja and Quercus.

Identification Notes: Verified with José Angel Villarreal Q. 2003 'Flora de Veracruz' Vol. 130. Leaves and stem densely stellate hairy. and with a dentate margin. Inflorescence three times compound, umbellate and corymbiform. Style hairy.
