Coordinates: 19°06'31" N, 97°12'08" W Alt: 2657m

Shrub 40 cm tall. Flowers white, pendent, pink-tinged at apex in bud.
Stream gorge with Pinus and Quercus forest. NE facing side of the gorge. N-facing bank with Fuchsia and Compositae.

Identification Notes: Verified with Luteyn, J. L. 1995 'Ericaceae Part II. The superior-ovaried genera' Flora Neotropica Monograph 66: 365-383. (Pernettya subgenus). Flowers solitary, axillary. Corolla ucreolate, white and 5-lobed. Leaves toothed, teeth ending in long setae.
