Coordinates: 19°06'32" N, 97°12'05" W Alt: 2662m

Small erect shrub. Flowers nodding. Pedicels pink. Corolla white tinged pink. Filaments light pink. Anthers brownish-pink. Stigma green.
Stream gorge with Pinus and Quercus forest. Shaded south-facing slope under Quercus and Pinus. Growing in leaf litter with Podophyllum.

Identification Notes: Verified with Luteyn, J. L. 1995 'Ericaceae Part II. The superior-ovaried genera' Flora Neotropica Monograph 66: 365-383. Leaves uniformely green, serrate. Flowers with sepals and petals. Stigmas sessile, filament dilated at base and ciliate.
