Location:Durango, Cienéga de los Caballos. La Michilia Biosphere Reserve.
Coordinates: 23°26'35" N, 104°15'52" W Alt: 2555m

Clump-forming parasite, 50 x 50 cm, bright yellow green. Flowers minute. Tepals yellow.
Pinus and Quercus forest with Pinus durangensis, Pinus arizonica, Quercus sideroxyla, Juniperus deppeana and Arbutus bicolor. Growing on Quercus sideroxlya at 2.5 m high.

Identification Notes: Verified with Kuijt Job 2003 'Monograph of Phoradendron' Syst. Bot. Monographs Vol. 66. Female plant. Young branches densely yellowish hairy. Basal leaves with transverse phyllotaxy. Leaves 5-6 times longer than wide, glabrescent. Inflorescence with 3 female flowers per bract sunken inside rachis. Tepals 3-4 hairy. Ovary glabrous.
