Notes: Verified with Bramwell 'Wild Flora of the Canary Islands'. Wooly tomentose plant. Leaves hastate, glandular dotted abaxially, aromatic. Inflorescence dense with large pinkish-green bracts. Flowers pale purple. Middle lobed of lower lip recurved. Filaments shorter than connectibe with a single fertile thecae. Sterile appendage large and spathulate. Calyx 4 lobed, accrescent and conpicuoulsy veined.
