Notes:Verified with Flora of China online draft and Rehder, A.'Synopis of the Genus Lonicera', Annual Report, Missouri Botanical Garden. 14. 1903. Sect. Isika, Subsect. Bracteatae. Erect shrub, pith white, solid, stems purplish, hirsute. Winter buds with 1 pair of scales. Leaves opposite, longer than 2 cm, apex acute to obtuse, margin ciliate. Peduncles longer than 2 cm, axillary, flowers paired. Bracts broadly ovate. Bracteoles and ovaries separate, hirsute, up to 1/2 as long as calyx tube. Fruit ovoid, orange-red, seeds oblong, slightly compressed.
